Mindfulness For Mental Health

UPDATE: Due to the current health climate, all events are cancelled and The Mindfulness Tree is on hiatus. Those who have bought tickets will be refunded. In place of regular Thursday and Saturday sessions, I will be broadcasting Facebook Live sessions at these times (see our Facebook page for more details). In the meantime, I hope you can all enjoy some home practice, with the help of Suryacitta’s “Self-isolation–> Home retreat” live broadcasts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. See also ‘The Mind Shed‘ for regular live sessions from Roger Hunt. Take care and I look forward to seeing you when all this turmoil has passed – all things will pass remember

2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month 6:00-7:00pm
Forum Health Centre
1A Farren Rd, Coventry, CV2 5EP

Come along on Thursday evenings to learn how mindfulness can support mental health. We will look at a variety of formal mindfulness practices and some informal techniques for building mindfulness into everyday life. In each standalone session, participants will be introduced to a new mindfulness-based strategy for promoting mental wellbeing. Key themes include how mindfulness can be used to:

  • Deal with difficult thoughts
  • Tackle stress and anxiety
  • Calm the chattering mind
  • Develop compassion
  • Promote awareness, focus and creativity

Free to attend. These sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.
